Civil UAV Design & Assembly · Los Angeles

Aircraft built around the job, not the catalogue

ForgeGravity Aero designs and assembles unmanned aircraft for agriculture, inspection, survey and monitoring. We start from the task you need flown and work backwards to the airframe.

What we make

Four families, one engineering approach

Every platform starts from a payload and a flight profile. The airframe follows from that, never the other way round.

FGA-01

Spray Multirotor

Heavy-lift rotorcraft carrying a tank and boom, tuned for low, slow, repeatable passes over a field.

Rotary · Heavy payload · Waypoint autonomy
FGA-02

VTOL Survey Wing

Vertical take-off with a fixed wing for cruise — long transects without needing a runway.

Hybrid wing · Sensor payload · Long endurance
FGA-03

Inspection Compact

Small, manoeuvrable, built to hold position close to a structure in awkward air.

Rotary · Optical payload · Manual & assisted
FGA-04

Tethered Observer

Ground-powered station keeping for events, incidents and perimeter work over long periods.

Rotary · Tethered power · Fixed station

How a build runs

From task to first flight

Five waypoints. Each one closes before the next opens, so nothing is discovered late.

WP1

Mission

What has to be flown, where, how often, and what the aircraft has to carry to do it.

WP2

Layout

Airframe geometry, propulsion and payload mounting drawn and reviewed before anything is cut.

WP3

Build

Assembly in our own shop, with every component and revision recorded against the airframe.

WP4

Test

Bench checks, tethered runs, then progressive flight testing against the mission profile.

WP5

Handover

Operator training, spares, documentation and a service route that stays open afterwards.

Sensing

The payload decides the aircraft

A multispectral camera, a spray boom and a thermal head want three different airframes. We pick propulsion, endurance and stability around what has to be carried, then keep the mount open so the payload can change later.

  • Optical, thermal and multispectral heads
  • Spray tanks, booms and spreaders
  • Mapping sensors and positioning gear
  • Open mounting so payloads can be swapped
Where they fly

Who flies them

Operators, not hobbyists

Aircraft that go out in working conditions and come back needing parts, not sympathy.

A

Farms & Agronomy

Spraying, spreading and crop scouting across acreage where a ground rig cannot go or should not.

B

Utilities & Energy

Line, tower, turbine and solar-array inspection without putting a person on the structure.

C

Survey & Construction

Site mapping, volume tracking and progress capture on a repeatable schedule.

D

Public Safety

Search support, incident overwatch and situational picture for responders on the ground.

E

Forestry & Environment

Canopy health, watercourse survey, wildlife counts and early fire spotting over rough country.

F

Industrial Sites

Perimeter watch, stockpile measurement and indoor inventory flights inside large facilities.

Why us

What changes when the builder stays reachable

FGA-W01

Built to the task

We do not sell a standard airframe and hope it fits. The mission profile sets the design, and we say so when an off-the-shelf machine would serve you better.
FGA-W02

Serviceable by design

Standard fasteners, accessible bays and documented wiring. A field repair should not require sending the aircraft back to us.
FGA-W03

Records that follow the airframe

Every component, revision and test result is logged against the serial, so a fault two seasons later has a history to read.
FGA-W04

Civil work only

We build for agriculture, inspection, survey, environment and public safety. We do not take defence or weapons work, and that is not negotiable.

Next step

Describe the flight, not the drone

Tell us what has to be covered, how often, and what it has to carry. We will come back with a platform direction and an honest read on whether we are the right shop.
